This text has been prepared by GÜRMEN GİYİM SANAYİ VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (hereinafter referred to as "GÜRMEN" or "COMPANY") as the data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (Law) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

 

The purpose of this Cookie Clarification Text is to inform you about the purposes and types of cookies we use, the legal reason and your rights regarding the processing of personal data obtained automatically through the placement of cookies used on our website on your device.

In the processing of personal data through the aforementioned cookies, in accordance with subparagraph (f) of the second paragraph of Article 5 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, the processing condition is based on the processing condition that "data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject".

 

Rights of the Relevant Person Listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to the Company by the methods set out below, the COMPANY will finalise the request as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. No fee will be charged up to ten pages in the response to be given. A transaction fee of 1 Turkish Lira will be charged for each page over ten pages. If the response to the application is given in a recording medium such as CD, flash memory, the fee that may be requested by the COMPANY will not exceed the cost of the recording medium.

 

In this context, personal data owners

1. To learn whether their personal data are processed or not,

2. Request information if personal data has been processed,

3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

4. To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

5. To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,

6. Although it has been processed in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, to request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing disappear and to request notification of the transaction made within this scope to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,

7. To object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analysing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

8. In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, it has the right to demand the compensation of the damage.

Pursuant to Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you may submit your request to exercise your rights mentioned above, in Turkish, to the address of the Company as the data controller, Mehmet Nesih Özmen Mahallesi, Keresteciler Sitesi Kızılcık Sokak No: 23 34173 Merter, Güngören İstanbul- Turkey, in writing with the information and documents certifying your identity, by registered electronic mail (KEP) to gurmengiyimas@hs01.kep.tr.

GÜRMEN reserves the right to verify your identity in order to prevent unlawful sharing of your personal data.

In your application;

1. Your name, surname and signature if the application is in writing,

2. For citizens of the Republic of Turkey, your Turkish ID number; if you are a foreigner, your nationality, passport number or ID number, if any,

3. Your residential or workplace address for notification,

4. Your e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, if any,

5. Your request subject,

and information and documents related to the subject, if any, must also be attached to the application.
